We are currently taking applicants for the following position:

Business Development & Estimating Manager

Jakarta Raya

To identify and convert prospects that can be efficiently won by Petrosea whilst minimising the project risk borne by Petrosea. This involves directing and controlling E&C BD function by providing leadership, direction and support to the activity.

Plan and develop BD strategy in E&C such that clients choose Petrosea by negotiation rather than open tender
Identify the projects that can be won with whilst minimising wasted estimating effort
Plan out tasks for BD staff including their interpersonal management to ensure employee satisfaction
Projects that are won have low commercial risk
Develop, manage and control the BD budget in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Locate technology partners that when combined with Petrosea will enable alternate projects to be delivered
Establish and maintains effective work relationship within the department, the company and the community, and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performace of all assigned responsibilities to achieve good working relation between office members.

Establish, review and communicate timely SWOT analysis and BD reporting for internal and external review.
Performs administrative supervisory tasks including evaluating employee performance, source necessary skills and resources based on manpower forecasts to provide managerial supports in administrative matters.
Responsible for the continues development of Petrosea Electronic Tendering System
Ensure that all tender are prepare in accordance with Company procedures
Responsible for managing the estimating workload across all disciplines
Responsible for managing Bid Mangers nominated by the Project Services Manager to execute tenders
Responsible for the continual enhancement of the Company’s estimating procedures
Ensure that all estimates are built up methodically and in sufficient detail and are in accordance with good estimating practice. Sufficient explanatory notes are to be included referring the location of supplementary information
Ensure that commercial term and conditions in subcontractor / vender RFQ packages are back to back with the head contract
Ensure that commercial and technical bid evaluation are completed for all subcontractor / vender proposals and are thoroughly evaluated
Ensure by working closely with the lead estimator, that the Indirect cost estimate is properly prepared and costed
Ensure that labour and equipment productivities are benchmarked against company and or industry norms
Ensure comprehensive tender review packs are complied for all tenders
Ensure a tender kick off meeting is conducted and minuted for all tenders
Ensure that a strategy meeting is conducted and minuted for all tender
Ensures the estimates basis is “current cost” by utilising material prices from current quotations
Ensure that a comprehensive risk and opportunity workshop has been conducted and all risks and opportunities have been identified and evaluated. A strategy to mange and mitigate the risk to the company shall also be complied.

Coordinate the preparation of tender submission document ensuring that all company and client requirements have been addressed.

Able to work extended hours to meet / entertain clients and owners
Demonstrated effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Committed to delivering the best possible service to the internal or external client
Min. 10 years previous experience in Business Development and Estimating in Mining construction sector
Able to travel regionally at short notice
Min. Bachelor degree preferably in Engineering
Able to generate and deliver innovative solutions to bring organisations together

Risk Management Specialist

The purpose of risk management function is to safeguard Petrosea, its customers, reputation, assets and the interests of stakeholders by identifying and managing all threats to the achievement of its business objectives

Support the Commercial manager for all aspects of the risk management program. Responsibilities include facilitating the identification of risks throughout Petrosea, developing, reporting and monitoring formats on risk management issues and developing methodologies for the assessment of risks throughout the organization.

Assists the Commercial Manager in championing the establishment of ERM and maintaining & developing the ERM framework
Coordinates ERM activities, facilitates the identification and evaluation of risks, and coaches relevant personnel in responding to risks
Organize appropriate risk reporting. Consolidates the reporting of risks
Evaluates ERM process, and provides assurance that the risks are correctly evaluated
Monitor, evaluate and challenge Petroseas success in managing its risks. Recommend improvements to the ERM system.

Oversee, and in some areas implement, the plan of risk control actions.
Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements

Bachelor degree in Engineering, or Industrial or Financial Management
At least 5 years professional experience in related field

Hold certification in the Risk Management area.
Preferably knowledge of the Engineering and construction industry and the mining Industry.

Corporate Communication Coordinator

Monitor, coordinate and review the implementation of company strategy for building, developing and maintaining company’s image both in internal and external public through effective use of all appropriate media in order to enhanced company’s excellent image to support the company target achievement.

Monitor and coordinate the implementation of corporate branding standarisation including company profile, publication and all aspect of print production to ensure corporate branding are well implemented in all company’s aspects considered with cost effectiveness.
Coordinate, manage and maintain the overall media relations (internal and external) for company and its programmes in order to enhance company image in internal and external.
Initiate new tools such as the Annual Corp Comm Survey and responsible for the internal announcements within company in order to improve internal communications
Coordinate and mantain company sponsorship and direct all paid advertising to ensure the delivery of a cost effective and appropriate annual advertising strategy within the agreed budget.
Monitor and control company’s website / intranet activities to attract interests of the employees and external stakeholder in accessing the website.

Represent the company at public functions as required (such as: attendance at opening nights, press launches, trade shows, public meetings and smilar events) and manage external communication events and initiate further improvements and/or new gathering format(s) to enhance company’s image in public.We offer our staff a challenging and innovative work environment. Min bachelor degree in any disciplines
Min 5 (five) years experience in marketing / communication function
