Process new insurance policies and update existing policies to reflect any change in beneficiary, amount of coverage or type of insurance
Communicate with policyholders or agents to obtain information or inform about account status or changes
Notify insurance agent and accounting department about policy cancellation
Organize and maintain files for each policyholder, including new policies, existing or cancelled policies
Transcribe data to worksheets and enter data into computer in preparing documents and adjusting accounts
