Motor Vehicle Business Units Group Head


Responsibilities

Managing Business Units Motor Vehicle Portfolio's (Conventional & Sharia Business) as a key part of the continued growth business strategy within developing, implementing, maintaining, and controlling business process of Motor Vehicle Insurance (Underwriting to Claim Management).
Develops, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the Business Units Motor Vehicle Program (Conventional & Sharia Business) and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
Planning and direction of the claims operation, ensuring the delivery of a responsive and client-focused service for clients throughout the National region.
Managing Motor Vehicle Claims, relationship with key institutional customers, appointment of surveyors and other third party agencies such as financial institutions, corporate and insurance regulatory bodies, formulating policies according to trends.
Ensure the third party agreements are in place with handling aggregates in regards to salvage, assessors, and supplier agreements.
Provide monthly activity report to Management including Claims portfolio and the overall Claims Management.

Requirements

Maximum 45 years old.
Minimum University Graduates preferably from Master Degree from any discipline.
Minimum experience 5 years handling Claim MV or Underwriting MV Specialist for the national branches.
Minimum experience 3 years in the same positions managerial for national business-wide.
Having certified A3IK will be advantage.
A strong knowledge for Motor Vehicle Claim coverage rules, such as the policy guidelines and the guidelines lay down by the local authorities thoroughly in order to be able to settle claims satisfactorily.
Good understanding for Motor Vehicle Underwriting Specialists.
A strong leadership, managing people, and customer relationship management.
Having wide networking and ability to maintain relationship.
Having strong experience managing claims in Client entirety.
Good interpersonal and communication skills in written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to manage your time effectively.
Proficient in English both oral & written.

Underwriter (Syariah)


Responsibilities

Examine documents to determine degree of risk from such factors as applicant financial standing and value and condition of assets management.
Able to determine risk classification based on product guidelines and standard / sub-standard risks and eligibility.
Evaluate possibility of losses due to catastrophe or excessive insurance.
Review company records to determine amount of insurance in force on single risk or group of closely related risks.
Decrease value of policy when risk is substandard and specify applicable endorsements or apply rating to ensure safe profitable distribution of risks, using reference materials.

Requirements

Maximum age 35 years old.
Minimum Diploma Degree, major in General Insurance Academy.
Minimum experience 3 years in General Insurance Company.
Have understanding about risk management (preferably holding A3IK certification).
Computer Literate (Ms.Word, Ms.Excel, Ms.Power Point).

Surveyor & Officer Claim (Balikpapan)


Responsibilities

Heavy assess the motor vehicle risks associated.
Preparing and proofreading detailed reports/the risk survey reports.
Recommendations to the underwriters to enable them to decide the terms and conditions of the insurance policy.
Liaising with other professionals, e.g. underwriters, brokers, client representatives.

Requirements

Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor)s specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
Full-Time position(s) available.
Male, maximum age 28 years old;
Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or major in Insurance Academy;
Maximum experience 1 year in Motor Vehicle Risk Surveying;
Strong knowledge about insurance technique in the motor vehicle risk assessment;
Understanding the procedure and technical aspects affecting risks;
Possess good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
Computer Literate (Word & Excel) is a must;
